Owl prints

I really fancy Abigail Edwards' 'Owls of the British Aisles' wallpaper for Seth and Bo's room, but I'm not sure I can afford £68 a roll.

A more realistic way to create an owl theme could be a version of the walls at Social La Lechuza (Uriarte 1980, Palermo Soho). They're covered, floor to ceiling, in an eclectic collection of framed pictures of owls.

Jeans to go

I saw Patricio Lix Lett's team making these jeans hangers for Vitamina a few weeks ago. He used scraps of recycled leather and chipboard, wet them and moulded them onto a purpose made iron bar. Once dried it looks like a light wood, and the rope threaded with steel wire finishes them off. What a great concept and technique. They're in stores now.
